What the Toronto market looks like
The deepest used-car market in the country, and the most competitive bidding on this platform. Trucks and AWD SUVs move fastest; commuter sedans draw the widest dealer interest.
How bidding works
Every bid is public
Amount, bidder type and timestamp. Dealers bid under their business name.
Reserve is disclosed
You always know whether the seller's floor has been cleared — before you bid.
Fixed closing time
No endless haggling. The clock runs out and the high bid wins.
Direct handover
Win above reserve and you get the seller's details immediately.
Buying in Ontario: Ontario requires the seller to buy a Used Vehicle Information Package (UVIP) from ServiceOntario and give it to the buyer — it is not optional. The buyer needs a Safety Standards Certificate to plate the car, and pays retail sales tax at registration on the greater of the purchase price or the province's wholesale value.
