The buyer network

Every buyer in Canada. On one map.

These are the dealerships that get told when a car lists in their area. Pin your postal code to see which of them would be called for yours.

Drawing the network…

Drag to pan, scroll to zoom. Click a bubble for the dealers there, or a province to zoom to it. Bubble size shows how many buyers sit at that postal district.

Why it matters

One listing. Every buyer who should see it.

A trade-in is one offer from one dealer who knows more than you do.

When you list a car, we match it to the closest rooftops in this network and invite them to bid against each other — and against private buyers — until your closing time. You set the reserve, so nothing sells below your floor. The map is simply the network you are listing into, shown honestly: every position is a real dealership, placed by its postal district.

On the data

Urban buyers are positioned by postal district (the first three characters of the postal code), which places them to a neighbourhood rather than a street address. Rural districts can be over 100 km wide, so rural buyers are placed by their full postal code instead, falling back to their town. Several dealerships at the same point share one bubble — the map never claims more precision than the data holds.

Coastlines are drawn from Natural Earth, which is public domain, and served from this site rather than a tile provider.
